If you’re looking for a fun mystery for the fall, this is a book you may want to try. It’s a quick, light read that will give you some laughs along the way. Add some witches to the mix and you have a great pick for the season. I also thought it was fitting for Friday the 13th. Hemlock Cove is ready for the season with a corn maze. That is until a body is found. Bay Winchester, editor of the town’s newspaper and descendant of a long line of witches is trying to find clues to this mystery. She’s also dealing with the usual family problems and a bike gang that has come to town, with one member who may or may not have a link to the murder. As she continues her search, the killer starts taking an interest in her too.
