The third book of this series was recently released, so I wanted to mention the first. I loved it when I first read it a few years ago. Adeyemi does a great job with her world-building and fills it with mythology. Orïsha was once a land alive with magic. That is, until the king orders the death of Maji and for magic to end. Zèlie Adebola has a chance to bring magic back to the land but must outrun a prince determined to end magic to do so.
