“The Rabbit Listened” is an excellent, gentle lesson for kids on how sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is listen. One day, Taylor decides to build something amazing. When the blocks are knocked over, Taylor becomes very sad. All his animal friends think they know just what to do to make him feel better. But he didn’t want to shout, or laugh, or rebuild. In the end, Taylor just needed someone to listen.
