I thoroughly enjoyed this book as both a librarian and an avid reader. It gives an excellent example of how it is important to stand up for what you believe in. But there can be better and more effective ways to get your point across. Amy Anne goes to the school library to check out her favorite book, only to find it is been banned. She and her friends start a secret library to give students the right to read. They find this may not have been the best way to make a stand and need a new plan to save the books that keep getting removed from the shelves.
