When I first saw this book, I didn’t plan on reading it. But with the next book in the series coming out next month, I’ve started to see it all over the internet, and people love the series. I finally grabbed a copy to see if I should get it for the library. I got the next book before I was even finished. If you enjoyed series such as “The Hunger Games” and “The Maze Runner,” and also enjoy playing RPGs, I would try this. The apocalypse is just getting started on Earth, along with another season of “Dungeon Crawler World.” The story follows Carl and his cat as they try to survive monsters and traps through an 18-level game meant for the amusement of the intergalactic audience. As a note, it contains some language, dark humor, and satire intended for adults.
