Adventure Begins at Your Library

Beginning June 1st and continuing through August 31st, the Oswayo Valley Memorial Library invites children to enjoy an adventure-filled summer!

–The Reading Adventure: Reading allows us to go on adventures anywhere without leaving home! Track your reading days – you must read at least 15 minutes to claim a day of reading. Stop by the library for your summer reading needs or read your own books. Turn in your reading adventure tracker for a chance at one of our adventure prizes! Tracker sheets are available at the library.

-The Activity Adventure: These adventures include completing pre-planned adventures and creating your own adventures. More details on this guide to summer adventure are available at the library. Document your adventures for a chance to win one of our adventure prizes!

-Adventure Camp @ the Library: Beginning July 10th and every Wednesday in July, you will find adventure at the library from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. Please pre-register for each day camp. Join us as we explore space with the Challenger Center out of Olean; explore the woods with Smokey Bear; explore the world of sports through the Olympics and release our imaginations and creativity through an art adventure!
