I can see why this book was chosen for our book club selection. It brings up some important concerns and issues that can arise from the death of a spouse and parent. It is well-written and may be an emotional read for some. Laura West, wife and mother, was taken from her family in an act of violence that appears random at first glance. Her husband, Nathan, is left trying to hold his family together while learning that some changes must be made to move on with life the best they can.
