Before I get to the review, I apologize that there has been a bit of a break since the last one. It’s been pretty busy here at the library, and I don’t always come across a book I want to do a review on. On another note, if you have any books you want to see a review of, let me know, and I will try to work them in if I can.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would when I first started it. With adventure, sunken treasure, forbidden love, and magic, it was a great start to my summer reading. A nautical archaeologist, Haven Ambrose, goes to the Italian village of Positano to investigate the shipwrecks along the coast. As she works on the project, she also plans to search for the treasure her father mentioned from his final dive. After her arrival, Haven runs into one dilemma after another. The locals and tourists blame the Amalfi Curse. Haven digs deeper into the ancient tale to unravel the truth before more damage can be done to the area.
