It can be difficult for the book club to find a book we all enjoy, but this was one of them. It’s always a nice break when you find a historical fiction that isn’t completely centered around one war or another. (Remember, historical fiction isn’t my first pick genre.) This one was based around a hurricane. It was fun to see how the main characters would be connected, and if you guessed right. In 1935, three women in Key West cross paths over a holiday weekend that will change their lives. All the while a hurricane is making its way to land. Their circumstances and the storm forced them to make tough decisions that may be for the best or crush them.
