I use Goodreads quite a bit, and this book kept popping up and I added it to my to-read list. I finally got a chance to read it and I enjoyed it. It gives you a different take on magic that I found refreshing. Elisabeth was raised in one of the Great Libraries of Austermeer as an orphan among the grimoires. She has been taught that sorcerers and the magic they wield are evil. But when a dangerous grimoire transforms and escapes, she will need a sorcerer’s help to save the Great Libraries and the world.
