I am late to the party on reading this series, but I am so glad I finally started it. Full of myth, humor, and adventure, this is a great series for young readers. Percy Jackson has a tough time in school and has been expelled from many. When a teacher turns into a monster and tries to kill him, his mother knows the time has come. As the son of a God, he must go to Camp Half-Blood to stay safe. But trouble finds him again, and now Percy has to try and prevent a war.
