This is a beautifully illustrated children’s nonfiction picturebook about an ecosystem in the ocean. It follows a blue whale, what happens after they die, and how a new ecosystem is created. Some of the pages do have quite a bit of information on them, which can seem a bit overwhelming. But everything is explained in a more understandable way for young readers. It is a great book for kids who enjoy science, animals, and how their life cycle creates new ecosystems.
