This was another one that I originally reviewed on Goodreads. This book came out after I graduated college. I wish I had known about it and read it sooner. One thing I love about being a librarian is being able to see the books I loved as a kid and discover the great books out there for young readers today. This is a lovely story about a magical girl and what led to her drinking from the moon and her magic being hidden for most of her childhood. The twists and surprises in this book can help keep young readers interested.
